In Thailand and my was working fine watching downloaded programmes then I get those codes, restarted iPad and reconnected to internet - why won't it work and will I lose the downloads if I delete and reinstall app - when the. Makes it useless

I would guess that the app has detected you are not in the UK and hence has thrown up these errors and yes I believe deleting the app would also remove your downloads and I don't think doing so would make it work anyway.
