Error 17c.1 on ipad

I am getting error 17c.1 on trying sky sports on an iPad. Private relay is not on. any help much appreciated.

Are you using a VPN, if so try disabling it.

I always use a vpn. Is there anyway round that as I am abroad?

Sky Go will not usually work when it detects that a VPN is in use hence this error.
