Device registrationn

I'm trying to add a device to sky go but when tap add device saying technical issue try later that's what I'm getting all the time

All you need to do to get this device registeted it to watch something via it as you can not manually add it any other way.

But it won't let me download so I can watch somewhere else when travelling saying can't download

Are you trying to download a recording from your Sky Q box and if so do you have multiscreen on your account ?
