Tonight I tried to watch the Champions League football on SkyGo on my iPad. However, I got a message saying that I needed to upgrade my subscription. I have had SkyGo Extra for several years, and subscribe to Sky Sports within my Glass subscription including multi screen. I could however view the EFL match being streamed.

Sky Glass 43” stand mount, Wi-fi, 1 puck, ethernet from Bt disc.
Sky Ultimate and whole home, Diamond VIP User
BT Hybrid FTTC, BT Smart Hub 2 + 1 disc

The Champions League matches are shown on BT Sport so you would also need to subscribe to the BT Sports package which you can do via Sky:

https://www.sky.com/tv/sports/bt-sport

Onec added you will be able to view them via your Sky box/Glass/Stream and Sky Go.
