Cannot install sky go on new mac book air with m5 chip

It seems to download sky go then says installing update. It then goes in to a constant loop of re installing, opening then closing. Re installing, opening, then closing. The only way to then stop it is to remove the installer from downloads.

Same issue Macbook Air M5. Installer starts, downloads updates, then quits.

Open Terminal and type softwareupdate --install-rosetta

Sorted it for me

Also on M5 - after running "softwareupdate --install-rosetta" still not working.

installs, saysing chekcing for update and then just come sup with same "We are having problems connecting you. Please try again (001)." error

I gave up and powered up my old intel MacBook pro and got Sky Go to download and install just fine on that. So this is certainly an issue with the M series chipset.....

Sky? any plans to fix this bug?

The ability to run the app at all runs out with this years MacOS. As support for intel based apps (which it appears the sky go app is) ends with this current version. 

So an Apple Silicon version to the app surely must be in development....

Woud be nice if someone from SKY could maybe comment here..... I guess they want people to buy their TVs.... but given Go is a feature of the product set come on SKY please do share your product roadmap........
