Cannot download 4 on demand programmes onto devices

Hi

I use the Sky Go app a lot for watching tv on my iPad and I usually download the programmes so I don't have to faff around with adverts.  Recently, I have been unable to download any CH4, E4 etc programmes.  It only gives me the option to download to my sky box in either HD or SD.  No option is there for my devices anymore.  

Anyone else?

I just tried and couldn't either, it could be that channel 4 want you to use their own channel 4 app for streaming and downloading on a device. I noticed that some full series are on the channel 4 app in advance but not all on Sky Go to encourage you to use their 4 app.

There does appear to be some catch-up content you can download to the app as I stumbled across this option against Hollyoakes, I haven't checked anything else so it might be this is limited to certain catchup content only.

Any channel owner can choose to restrict content to its own app if they wish.

I can download series 1 of Patience onto iPad but not series 2, it will likely be a channel 4 thing rather than Sky go, I would have thought
