Can't play anything on SkyGo

Whenever I try and play something on my Sky Go app, I get an error message saying to watch the content, I needed to upgrade my subscrition and to review my account. However, my current subscription should allow me to watch any content I wish. I'm really confused and this has been an ongoing issue for ages. Please can anyone help?

A few questions:

 

Are you new to Sky or a returning customer ?

What TV packages do you have on your account ?

Can you watch the same live TV channel that you can via your TV service ?

I'm new to Sky as of January 2025, but I have been able to watch content on Sky Go up until about 2 weeks ago.

 

I have Sky Ultimate TV pack, as well as Netflix/Sky Sports/Cinema/kids/TNT Sports.

 

I'm not sure I understand your final question, but yes I'm also having problems accessing live TV via my Sky Go app at the moment too.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.

I'm having the same problem, I have no WiFi or sky tv as I'm waiting for cables to be put in. I start being billed on 14th yet I now have no sky go either so not sure what I'm paying for. I spoke with someone for over an hour yesterday who has escalated it but I've still heard nothing, she said she'll look into it again tomorrow when she's back in. It says I need to upgrade my subscription, but the woman found nothing wrong with my account or login. Now I have no tv, no WiFi, and no access to sky go, but I'm still being billed for it.
