Can't get sky go on games console

Why can't I access sky go on an xbox. It says you can have up to 5 devices but doesn't allow you to use them in the same house? Why should we have to pay for multi room when this feature is available? Talk about money grabbing

Games consoles have always required Sky Go Extra (which comes free with things like multiscreen, whole home etc...) this is not a new thing

OK but why is that? If you can use it on a PC, why not a console?

Only Sky can answer that, but they will not do that here

My thoughts are it's easy to restrict things on a console as it is a more closed system than that of a PC

My guess would be that PC compatibility is intended for laptop use while travelling, while a console is more likely to be at the home address and providing input to a television, so effectively replacing a Q Mini or Sky+ Multiroom box.
