Where are the BBC channels on Sky go.?Tried internet, it says 801, wrong. I tried restarting SkyGo, still no bBC.
In the UK, BBC channels are not available to watch in the "Watch on phone" tab on Sky Go. You need to use the BBC iPlayer to watch BBC channels and S4C.
Watching BBC channels on Sky Go is only available in Ireland as the BBC iPlayer is unavailable in Ireland.
Additionally, BBC channels in the 800s were the SD versions, but the SD versions of BBC channels closed on satellite in January 2024.
The BBC channels are on
- 101 - BBC One HD
- 102 - BBC Two HD
- 115/117/121 - BBC Three HD
- 115/180 - BBC Scotland HD
- 116 - BBC Four HD
- 117/169 - BBC Alba HD
- 503 - BBC News HD
- 504 - BBC Parliament HD
- 607 - CBBC HD
- 608 - CBeebies HD
depending on your region
You can view the listings and record BBC channels from the Sky Go app to your Sky box by going to the "Record to Sky box" tab, but you cannot watch them on Sky Go.

Re: BBC channels, where are they?
In the UK, BBC channels will only appear in Sky Go for Sky+ and Sky Q users who have a Multiroom/Multiscreen subscription and are using the mobile device at home on the same network as their satellite receiver.
Glass/Stream users will never see those channels in Go.
This is a restriction put in place by the BBC, because they want viewing figures recorded in iPlayer to justify License Fee spending on that platform.

Re: BBC channels, where are they?
I am unable to view the listings for BBC channels in the Sky Go app as there is now no "Record to Sky box" tab.

Re: BBC channels, where are they?
There should be the record option at the top of the listings so if you do not see this then what device do you have the Sky Go app installed on ?

Re: BBC channels, where are they?
There used to be a "Record to Sky box" tab but that has now gone on Version 26.2.1 (2bf3cbc).

Re: BBC channels, where are they?
@caesarome I have the Sky Go app on both my iPhone and iPad and there is now no "Record to Sky box" tab showing on either whereas previously there was one. This seems to be an issue with the latest version of the app.

iPad
As the Android and Windows apps have "Record to Sky Box", I think it was assumed that all apps across all devices are the same, where they are not, but which they really should be. I don't know whether it's an Ireland thing too, as I'm in Ireland.

Re: BBC channels, where are they?
@Marlu-Nyu I'm in the UK and as I said above the 'Record to Sky box' used to be there on my iPad and iPhone, exactly as in your screenshot, but in the last few days it has vanished.
I have to use the Freeview app to get BBC listings.

What version are you running on both your iphone and iPad, I'm on 26.2.3 on them both and I see the record option.
