Availability of programmes

Hi is there any way to get more programmes available through Sky Go. Or do Sky have any plans to increase them.

I have the full package with Sky, but can't watch my full package with Sky Go. Don't tell me it's not Skys fault.

Some broadcasters like BBC, ITV etc... want you to use their streaming services (BBC iPlayer, ITVX) so Sky cannot provide this content on Sky Go

Other content would cost Sky more money to provide it on Sky Go so some niche stuff will not be financially viable and the costs would be passed on to us customers 😞

Re: Availability of programmes

Hi, thanks for your reply. I understand about streaming services, but it would at least be nice to be offered a choice even if entailed a cost. Then it would be my choice to subscribe or not.

The issue is that these broadcasters will not let their content appear via Sky Go so even offering to pay for it isn't going to make them change their minds especially with the likes of the BBC.

Re: Availability of programmes

The BBC is a red herring, you can access that by BBC Player. Why no +1 programmes? All I know is there are large chunks of my EPG from my SkyQ that are missing from the Sky Go EPG. They allow sky to broadcast them on SkyQ but not on Sky Go. Maybe Sky aren't trying hard enough now that Sky Glass has appeared. Thank you for reply anyway.

Looks like I'll have to settle for what I can access.
