Apple A18 Pro - can SkyGo work with latest Apple Neo?

I have just purchased the latest Apple Neo, running an A18 Pro chip.

I cannot use SkyGo. I have downloaded the latest Sky Go installer but whenever I try to open, there is an error message of a communication error. I have tried Apple support and they said that the issue is with the Sky Go app developer. They believe that the current version of Sky Go is incompatible with the latest Neo, even with Rosetta 2 downloaded (which I have done). Are they correct? Is Sky Go now unusable for me on my latest laptop?
