Sky Go on PC not opening - no error message

Ive tried everything my not very technical mind can do but I still can't get Sky Go to open.  The blue screen appears saying its checking for updates, then disappears within a few seconds never to be seen again.

Ive deleted files from APPdata roaming, (no Cisco) even deleted McAfee in case that was blocking it - all to no avail.

Can anyone please help me sort this out?

By the way, its working fine in my IPad, just suddenly stopped working on Laptop a couple of days ago.
