Sky Go - cannot stream F1 2021 GP...

Why do the F1 highlights and full race coverage show only "download to sky box", while qualifying and all the others show "play". Come on Sky - I am away from my home and have the full package but you are preventing me from watching. Sky no go! Not happy.

Content rights-owners are entitled to dictate which platforms viewing is permitted on: in this case it's almost certainly a restriction insisted on by Liberty Media.

It's not only the platform in this case, because it's perfectly playable LIVE.

It really is incoherent, as you can log in anywhere in the world, with your account (the ID that you PAY from) and watch the F1 Coverage LIVE.

But the minute you miss the action live, you have to be on the network and in range of your Sky Q box to be able to "Catchup".

This is the reason, everyone continuously asks...  " WHAT THE HELL SKY!!"

I've just been able to download the qualifying session from catch-up to my phone without connecting to my Q box.

Is this still the case? You can't watch the race or qualifying on the sky go console app?

I can view SKY F1 on my iPad, but I want to view it on my Motorhome TV.

how do I do this?

You need an Xbox one or PS4, to view your sky account on another tv.

Checked outthe various help pages on Sky Go and Sky Go Extra. Says I need to have a multiscreen account. I do. Any instructions to load Sky Go Extra just point me at the Sky Go intsallation. It is already installed. I reinstalled just in case. It lets me play catch up on some but not all of the content. If I try to dfownload it to a laptop over WiFi (no Sky Q box in the vicinity) it juyst offers be the options to downlad to the Sky Box in HD or SD. Bit I want it on my laptop as I am away. Confused. Frustrated.

I can't find the Qualifying on Sky Go which is why you are only seeing the option to send a download to your Sky box.
