Subtitles on after recording a program

When I add programs to my playlist subtitles are on when I don't need them I have tried to remove nothing works.

Under setting - Accessibility there is an option to turn on and off subtitles, have you turned this setting off?

or

when playing an on demand program (nothing is recorded in the true sense it's all streamed) if you pause and up arrow you will also have the option to turn on or off subtitles.
