Lip sync issues on sky glass

@Furnyjones You don't mention who you are answering but I am guessing you are referring to the update not working.  If I am correct in my assumption can you go to settings > system management and let us know what build version you are on.

You are still on the previous firmware. The new firmware historically gets rolled out in batches at a time over several weeks.

Hi

Noticed in the last few weeks that audio on some channels is 2 to 4 seconds out of sync.

Main channels  seem mainly to be ok but other channels showing older shows are varying how far they are not in sync

Any suggestions please as this is so frustrating

@Zombie+Warrior  Hi Paul, this is a known issue and there is an update currently rolling out with a fix for the lip sync problem.  Sky hope to have everyone updated by the end of the month.  In the meantime I find flipping to another channel and back again gets everything back in sync.

@Zoeb  You have not yet received the update that should correct this issue so it is not surprising you still have the problem.  Hopefully you will receive it within the next couple of days 🤞 but in the meantime when the lip sync issue happens try flipping to another channel and back again, it always got my setup back in sync and literally only took a couple of seconds.

you can check what firmware you are running by going to 

settings > system management and let us know what build version you are on.
