Have you asked him the de-register the TV from his account?

Re: Sky wont move 43 inch tv subscription to my account after split
Unfortunately Skys policy is that a subscription/account cannot be transferred to a different person.
You would need to get the account holder to cancel their subscription and register the Glass TV from their account at which point you would be able to register it against an account in your name and take out a TV subscription.

Sky should change their policy as not everyone stays together it's pathetic I have a sky glass tv that I can use but they make sure I'm still paying for it should of gone with virgin or ee then I wouldn't have this problem we gave been with day for 10 years and they treat you like this they should be happy to be getting 2 subscriptions

Re: Sky wont move 43 inch tv subscription to my account after split
Is there an issue with de-registering the TV ... one issue would be the loan agreement which wasn't made with you ... the person it was made with is still responsible to complete payments🤔
You have to make a private purchase agreement to buy the TV and the current owner is still responsible to complete payments😉
There should no issue with making a new account and then registering the TV you have purchased🙂

Re: Sky wont move 43 inch tv subscription to my account after split
The problem I have is the account is in my name but the husband pays for the subscription and tvs, but he is also in hospital at the moment so sky wont deal with me as the payments come out his bank under his email if that makes sense it's complicated and all sky say are they are trying to add the TV to my account under my email and address this has been going on since June 4th ,believe it or not we actually sorted this in March and was assured once my broadband was on at my address they would activate my TV but nope

@Dee071 But the account is in your name, you are the account holder, however as advised I think you needed to have cancelled the actual old account 1st, which you haven't done.
