Sky won’t unpause

Every time I pause a program, live or otherwise, and try to play again I get about half a second of it playing then it pauses itself again and the only way to get out of the cycle is to unplug the TV. I am having the same with the puck in the other room. 

Given that if I stalled my payments to Sky and refused to start again they'd stop my viewing, it's frustrating that they're happy to stop my viewing whilst still taking my money.

Watch from start generally not working for me, trying to watch F1 sprint from start and then fast forward about half hour to the race but then it just simultaneously pauses and unpauses leaving with no option to either watch live or watch half hour of which I wanted to skip.

I've tried turning off & resetting but nothing fixing it, this should be really easy stuff sky 🙈

Also have issues with F1, if you pause the live broadcast you can't unpause. Leaves the feature unusable

Same here, pause then press the same button to play and it instantly pauses again. So tired of Sky Glass basic quality issues.

@Kris16 I assume you've reported it to Sky. What did they suggest?

The exactly the same thing is happening to me using sky glass. And also what happens sometimes when I try to fast forward it always jumped back and keeps doing it.

I'm having the same problem. It started yesterday, and, after a couple of hours of it I unplugged and rebooted, which solved the problem. It was ok when I put it on again today but then started again a couple of hours ago. 

I'm figuring it's one of those things that happens and then the fix and one day I will come home from work this week and it'll be fine. I also can't skip ads without it happening.

Their response is to unplug the TV and then plug back in. 

This isn't helpful when it's a live sports broadcast.

Had same issue, dso I tried re syncing Sky remote to the TV . Its never happened since

It's fine this evening. Fingers crossed it was just a blip.
