Sky glass

I now have sky glass and have repositioned my tv,can I remove the wires sticking out from the wall?

Also I have a sky puk that won't play my downloads as my tv is only a HD tv . What kind of tv do I need to purchase? Mmm sky glass not so cheap,didn't have an issue with sky Q

@Amyrose1x it depends what the wires are for. Sky Glass doesn't need anything else plugged into it for it to work, however you may wish to keep the ariel plugged in to it, so you can watch the DTT channels via that should you lose your broadband connection for any reason.

Regarding the Sky stream puck, that will work on any TV, howeevr if your TV its plugged into isn't UHD, then when trying to watch something you will need to ensure you select the HD version on your puck to watch it, whereas if you subscribe to the UHD add-on you can use the Sky Glass to watch any available content in UHD.

You can remove the wires from the wall and take down your satellite dish if you are happy with switching to Sky's streaming service. 

A Sky Stream puck can be used on an HD TV. You need to make sure the output resolution is set to 1080i on the puck's video settings. If the TV is only HD-Ready then you need to set the output to 720P. You may need to temporarily connect the puck to your Glass TV and select it on the HDMI inputs in order to set the puck's output resolution to 720P. 

Sky Stream doesn't download - it streams content using your broadband connection so it, along with the Glass TV, needs a fast and stable connection. 

If you are not happy with Sky Glass or Sky's streaming service you can still switch back to Sky Q and return the Glass TV if you've had it less than 30 days.
