Sky glass no internet connection

Every time I switch my sky glass tv on there is no internet connection.  Tested service checker on app and followed all instructions!

 

New fibre installed last Friday and never had this problem before

Hi @Michelle247 and welcome to the forum.  When I first got Sky Glass a few years ago I had the same issue every morning when turning the TV on but I don't know why it should have suddenly started unless installing your new fibre BB has reset certain things.

 

I cured the problem instantly by stopping the Glass from losing the Network connection when it goes into standby mode. This can easily be done by going into the Settings > Start up & standby menu and making sure that the option for "Networked standby mode" is turned ON.  I would also turn OFF the overnight power saving.
