Re: New Sky OS

Thanks for that, I understand the requirement of entering a PIN code for post watershed content being viewed earlier than the watershed.

That wasn't the question.

My point was about why, tha PIN issues were occurring.

i.e. I haven't attempted to enter a PIN, yet the screen says that I have entered it wrong 3 times. And has locked it for 10 minutes.

Second issue is

The PIN will work for inenstream from one channel e.g. STV, but 30 mins later the same PIN is being rejected when I use it in another channel/stream. This rejection tends to be on Sky specific channels.

Does anyone know why I haven't got it when I was offered the trial and opted in?

@Reevo87 As we are primarily customers on here we wouldn't be able to answer, did you receive any confirmation emails after signing up?

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Only two emails asking me for feedback about it but can't comment as not had it, does it automatically upgrade to the software without having to do anything?

@Reevo87 Anyone who signup successfully should now be on the beta version automatically as its at 100% rollout, I'll reach out to sky and see if they can assist

Thank you, 100% signed up for it, it said on both my Gen TVs that I would be getting it, not sure what has happened

Re: New Sky OS

@Gregor+Condy I concur. I have this bug too, it states that I have entered the PIN incorrectly three times and locks out, when I have entered the PIN once. You have to wait for a period of time before you can enter the PIN that you have never entered ! Definitely a bug that needs raising.

It's highly unlikely Sky will add you on now. I think you will just have to wait for it to be released. @Reevo87

@Hoover123 @Gregor+Condy

The PIN code error your both reporting has been flagged and noted.

It is also affecting some customers not on the 2.0 build.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

I thought it was snappier but I have left the trial and it's not snappier for me. The old U.I feels snappier for me. Just my opinion though. I stupidly bought the sky air 55 inch which is slower than a five year old firestick.

Sky OS

I was offered a free trial for SKY OS but I do not want it anywhere and want it taken of how do I do this as what I had before was easier to navigate and familiar?.

Hi @Lauren6441

If you are on the Entertainment OS 2.0 trial you can revert back temporarily by home Home Screen > apps & inputs rail > Ent OS 2.0 app > leave trial. Sky will aim to revert you back within 72 hours.

However this is something they will roll out to everyone after the trial so you will end up with it eventually.
