Sky Live

I've just switched to Sky Glass, but Sky Live was not included in my package?

Re: Sky Live

@DavidEntwisle It won't be unless you add it yourself.

Sky Live is an add on device and pack.

So you would have needed to  order it in addition to  your Sky Glass TV, or you can order it at a later date.

Re: Sky Live

Thanks Peter, I completed a Sky survey, which seemed to suggest it came with the package, clearly misunderstood it.

Yes you have to order  one by calling  sky and it plugs in to the back of the tv

Re: Sky Live

Have Sky ever explicitly stated whether Sky Live is compatible with the Glass Air TV?

I mean it's clearly not a priority product for them any more due to it being completely removed from the website and only apparently offered to Glass Gen2 buyers after they have purchased the TV, but I'm curious to know whether purchasers of the Air TV have been offered it?

Re: Sky Live

Hi BenJoBanjo,

I've just switched to Sky Glass Air, and I certainly wasn't offered Sky Live, didn't even know it existed until I completed a Sky Survey

I don't think it's actually compatible with the Glass Air.
Sky Live was designed for the Glass gen1 and was then offered to Gen2 purchasers as it used the same chassis more or less. Glass Air is a totally different design.

When you try and order Sky Live it clearly states its not compatiable with Air.

I'd imagine the camera wouldn't fit on top of the Air.

Nor would it magnetize to the plastic frame of the Air... it would need the flat, deep aluminium chassis of the Glass gen1/2 to be stable.

Re: Sky Live

It fits on top perfect due to the little band thingy, it has the correct inputs   I was so disappointed and no I don't think it specifically said anything about the Air.
