Sky Glass tv problems
I would like to know what customers are actually saying to sky in order to have their glass tvs returned and refunded. If their tvs have several issues. I am unfortunately one of the people that was misold a 55" glass tv, also told that it would do some many different things which is clearly untrue. The tv has several issues, which are exactly the same as the first. It is the second replacement in less than three months. I am also one of those people, that unfortunately has a credit agreement. The tv is not fit for purpose, it doesn't function to the correct standards. I just want the faulty tv returned and a refund. Why should I agree to a third tv and go through the same process again.

Re: Sky Glass tv problems
Hi @Legolands
What issues are you having? If you provide some details the community may be able to help. I have a glass and 4 pucks and it is certainly less troublesome that Q ever was, although the early days were rocky.
Sky generally have everything documented on their website etc so be interested to hear what was promised that hasn't been delivered?
The best recommendation would to be raise a complaint with Sky as per th information here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint.
You will need to state why you believe you have been missold etc and see if sky are willing to allow you to reject the goods at this stage. I'd also recommend seeking some independent advice on your rights as a consumer. Forum advice should never be considered as such.
Hope you get sorted.

Re: Sky Glass tv problems
Was told that the picture quality would be a lot better than sky q, there were a lot more features than sky q. That it can record programs and upload them to the cloud to be able to view later. Which is untrue. Also that there were more apps available, and that the sound quality would also be better than sky q similar televisions. I was pressured into sky glass, and pressured into a faster broadband speed. due to being told that I couldn't have a sky stream box on my previous television. I was also told that sky q was ending that I have to have stream, as a sky tv service. That my broadband wasn't fast enough, to have a streaming box. After a period I was told by another sky staff member that I could've had a sky streaming box on my previous television. That the previous broadband speed would've been fast enough.
Experienced several issues on first glass tv also same issues on replacement tv. There is a constant Buzzing, a light on the left side of the screen, a lot of black on the screen very patchy, cant watch without technical faults flashing up, screen stripes, volume distorted when watching at less than 50%.
Followed all processes and steps through the forum also via others.

Re: Sky Glass tv problems
You'd be arguing under consumer protection legislation that the product isn't as described / of adequate quality / fit for purpose, and that you've given the supplier sufficient opportunity to remedy the situation.

That would be correct after October 2022 when Stream was launched as a standalone product, but not before then.
