Sky Glass sound issues

For some time now, our old 1st gen Glass TV would only give a passable sound using Music on the viewing mode. This has now changed to all channels sounding muffled for speech.

So I unplugged for 20 minutes and then reset both picture snd sound to the factory settings.

This seems to have worked for the TV channels, but all the movie channels and the apps like Disney/Netflix etc, the speech is so muffled they are unwatchable. Backgtound music seems to okay.

Anyone any ideas please?
