Hi,
Anyone managed to get Sky to fix a 'software error' blue screen?
Tried several soft / hard reboots on own & with sky help, no change.
Out of warranty & in last 6 months of contract.
Is it time to stick with Sky? Or move elsewhere?

Thanks for all the help.
Closing this thread as decided to ignore Sky & buy a brand new Costco TV with 5 year warranty.
This & a puck will get me up & running for the last 6 months of my contract.
Never using Sky again after this disaster..

Re: Sky Glass dreaded blue screen
Just an update .. still without a working SkyGlass tv.
Bought an ethernet cable in an attempt to force an update without wifi.
No change, now escalated to Sky Glass team (??) .. and a callback arranged for weekend.

Re: Sky Glass dreaded blue screen
This has been a nightmare.. I have read another thread on here where Sky look to have agreed that there isn't a fix for software error blue screen & as that customer's tv was in warranty, was provided with a new one.
Yet, they've been 'pulling my chain' with reboot after reboot in the hope that i pay £474 for a replacement, as mines is out of warranty.
If you are looking to buy a Sky Glass tv of any type, I'd honestly say NO & just buy a normal tv..

Re: Sky Glass dreaded blue screen
@Jaymac66 in deciding what to do next, , if the Glass was just over 2 years and died, I doubt I would get another one.
If it was just over 4 years old I might consider another Glass. Having said this, all my TVs (with the exception of my Samsung OLED) are at least 7 years old and (touch wood) going strong.
Best of luck whatever you decide.

Re: Sky Glass dreaded blue screen
Thanks @2muchTV
It's not really the length of time I've had the tv that is the issue to me, it's that Sky forced an update, which crashed the tv & are now almost washing their hands - saying i need to pay nearly £500 for something that wasn't my fault.
If they say the TV is 'mine', then surely it is then my choice to do a software update & shouldn't be forced??
