You can purchase a new 55" Sky Glass Gen2 TV any time you like. You can't swap your current version for it though. There is no 'upgrade' path, despite what Sky initially gave the impression of there being.
You need to finish paying off your original 65" regardless of what you decide to do with it. You could sell it to help pay off the remainder of your debt but resale value is small on Glass TVs.
