Sky Glass Feedack / Future Software Update Changes

is their a way to share feedback to Sky developers on what would be good to have (in future updates)

1) add a network speed test feature (instead of having to use Netflix)

2) playlists - add the latest shows to the front instead of having to go into each show to see if anything new has been added

3) add a new series tab (similar to sky Q)

4) ad-skipping - just remove all ads - not sure why you have to fast forward

maybe more but these are the most common pain points for me since moving from Q to Glass

Hi @jam090277  Don't forget my pet hate,  and include a delete button to remove unwanted programmes from the continue watching rail.

Re: Sky Glass Feedack / Future Software Update Changes

Continue Watching delete option is a major priority and mark as watched.

Also agree AD Skipping is dire and it should be as Now TV just no ADS if you subscribe. However Comcast control the Now app and output so the software to eliminate ADS is fully under their control with Sky the content comes from third party providers, cloud recording and apps so I suspect there are technical issues involved with the Skip ADS used more as a workaround.

Also never say never the never going to happen Reminder option has landed. 🤯

Playlist needs a total revamp it's messy it can't track correctly what's been watched so keeps bringing previous viewed content to the front, the blue line indicating watched is hit n miss, stuff just drops out, it crashes and everything is lost but when it does work it's pretty neat. The developers should play with the Apple version they could learn so much. I'd also add the continue watching rail in the playlist section rather than jumping around the home screen, after all playlist and CW although independent entities do work in tandum.

One of my gripes is content overload rail after rail of often duplicate information, all providers are guilty of this but Sky Glass/Stream are one of the worst. Information overload actually does the opposite of what Sky are trying to achieve as you switch off to the context of what's there.  Keep it informative but clean, less is more!

The Home Screen I'd have.

1. Highlights  programs/movies/Sport that link to trailers where poss.

2. Your tabs playlist, tv, movies but also settings, My Sky and apps

3. TV Guide

4. Favourite apps

5. Next week's highlights

6. Coming soon

7. Because you watched you may.....

Then if sky want overload stick the rails in the relevant movie. TV, Sports sections etc.  I haven't including CW as I think it better placed under the playlist tab but wouldn't be apposed to it being a homepage rail perhaps just under the TV Guide.
