@AlySmyth Have you tried turning off the voice mic on the TV (under Privacy in the Settings), which should help stop the TV from randomly flashing on for a few seconds? ( as suggested in the post marked as the answer).

Thanks. I thought I had already done this, but upon rechecking the mic was still on. Turned off now so lets see if that works.
Cheers

I have the same issue since getting the SG Air in June 2025, the screen will come on randomly for a few sensors while on standby mode. Its very startling in the middle of the night. What the chances of a fix for this issue. We shouldn't have to turn off features such a mic a push update should have been done by now

In the software industry, typically annoying bugs like this are generally seen as low priority to fix, and what gets prioritised are new features or bugs that affect the general service.

Personally i think the workaround to disable the built in mic works fine, as its stop the issue and its not like you don't have any voice control and it still works through the remote.
