Rewinding on Sky Glass/Stream

I am thinking of getting Sky Glass but have a question on rewinding within a program.

1) in Sky Q when rewinding you can visibly see how far you are going back (or forward) . Makes finding where you are very easy.
2) When watching TV via an App ( i.e netflix) all you get is a time line of how far you can move. This really is annoying as you have to second guess how far back you need to go.

I want to know if within Sky Glass or stream is it option 1 that is available or option 2?

Thanks in advance as this will have a big bearing on me moving to Glass.

It depends on what you're watching and whether or not it's being played back via an app or not.

If watching a Sky programme on demand for example, you will get option 1 - a line which shows you where you are in the show and a dot which moves as you rewind/fast forward. Similar to Sky Q, but with a bit of added latency due to a stream being controlled, rather than a recording on a hard drive.

If watching something on demand via an app then you are at the mercy of that particular app's user interface. So a BBC show will play back via iPlayer, an ITV show via ITVX etc.
