Remote not pairing sky q

A new sky q remote that won't pair. Have tried all methods. Hold 7&9, hold 1&3, new batteries, reboot etc. the lights on remote flash so there is power to remote but it will not control the sky box.

You have posted this in Sky Glass. Are you using Glass and Q together or Q and a 'normal' TV? If the latter a moderator will need to move your post to th correct board where those with current / relevant knowledge can assist.
