After having sky fitted my recording box was removed. So can I record terrestrial channels on sky

There is no recording  as such you add them to your play list

@Janski-1952 on Sky Glass "recording" works in a different way.

For most programmes when you add them to "record", it will instead add them to your playlist as links towards the on-demand version of that show playing either from sky's on-demand service or a third party like Netflix, Disney +, iPlayer etc.

Some content though will be "cloud recorded" which is where Sky essentially record the broadcast from the linear TV channel, and the link from the playlist is then to the cloud recording. However its worth noting that what Sky can cloud record varies and will depend on the programme and the channel its being broadcast on. For example recording most sport from Sky Sports, will take a cloud recording of the broadcast, whereas trying to record something from BBC 1, for example, will just take to you the on-demand version on iPlayer ( prodiving that show is available on iPlayer).

Thanks Mark how long does it stay on the playlist for and can you delete after watching or is it automatic. 👍

For the actual "recordings" i believe the longest it will stay is one year, however depending on rights its possible it can be for a much shorter period.

Once Sky launch the new Sky OS 2.0, it should be a lot easier to see what content has been cloud recorded ( and manage it), and what it just links to on-demand apps,
