Problems with menu/tv guide

When on the Home Screen the top left box is blank (eg Currently watching/TV GUIDE)  like it loses the stream? 
happened a few times recently, have to switch the tv off and back on again each time.

So for clarity if the box is Bank and you go TV guide and select a channel, does that work as expected?

  • Just got my replacement gen 2 due to picture issues, now mine is doing this with icons missing etc, my broadband is spot on, no ones downloading, restarting tv fixes it but the issue comes back. The tv and sky stream is rubbish. No images in the icons.  And waiting over a day for a reply in private message is a joke, maybe in a week I'll have got through security.

Correct, click on the the blank image of tv guide, the guide loads and the channel is on within 3 seconds  I've noticed it's had a build update recently, it's messed up, had nothing but issue after issue since joining sky.

Having also looked at your previous thread on here, can understand your frustrations having had replacement Sky Glass TVs with screen issue.

Did you on the last thread talk with the Sky Community escalation team?
We can escalate to them again and will flag both your other thread and this one of your issues and journey. It will save you another call to Sky and be an escalation chat.

Thanks for your reply, just come off phone to sky, wanted me to factory reset it again, just pulled plug and the menus are back for now, only a restart fixes it temporarily. The advisor in private message asked me to fill in the form for security but after putting details in it gives an error when pressing submit, checked and checked again and the details are correct. It's one thing after another, feels like banging my head against a wall
