Paramount+

New Sky glass got movies and Paramount+ is included. I am singed in but when I activate comes up with uh oh error? Tried everything any ideas?

@Ray1371  Your post has been moved from the Sky Go Board, Sky Go is a PC/Mobile app, as you've stated you've got Sky Glass your post has been moved to the correct board for Sky Glass.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

It's a common error with Paramount +

 

Try the following if you have not done so already.

 

First try a Sky Glass TV restart
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Glass TV will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.

 

Put your Sky Glass TV into standby, then do a broadband router/hub restart.

 

If it is still not working after that, try an apps refresh;

 

  1. Press Home on your Sky remote, then highlight Settings.
  2. Press System management, then Resets and updates, and finally Refresh apps.
  3. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing. An apps refresh can take up to 24 hours to fully complete.

I've been having this problem for over a month. Spoke to Sky twice about it and nothing has worked. 
Was waiting until the next billing cycle to see if it kicked in then but still nothing. 

Already tried reboots and refreshing and nothing. Going to try calling them again tomorrow.

As well as a settings restart of your Sky Glass TV and an apps refresh (that can take up to 24 hours to complete), if you have not done so already try a broadband router/hub restart.

 

If you have done all the above and it's still not working, we can escalate this for you to chat online with the Sky Community escalation team, if that is easier for you than calling Sky  later?

I've had the same problems for 3 weeks now...none of the reset stuff works...it's nothing to do with the tv or the broadband its a problem between Sky and paramount which neither know how to fix

Try going to my sky on the home page opening it and check it is activeated in there

I am having the same issue where I can't access paramount plus even though I have sky movies and upgraded (£3 cost) to add free. Paramount plus say it's a sky issue. I am on sky Q. Is there any definite news from sky regarding the issue?
