Paramount+ crashing on ads

I am using a Sky Glass Air. Only had it for about a month, including Paramount+, which I have had for one month as well.

 

I have been trying to use Paramount+ today, I have previously had no issues with this. I have a free subscription from Sky for 9 months, and it's the basic package with ads. I couldn't load an episode today, but eventually it did. I thought I was okay until it got to the next ad break and it crashed yet again. It comes up with a network error, code 9999, but there is no network issue. I have had to play the ads on my phone and then go back to the TV to replay the episode. It's not really easy to keep doing this when I would like it to work smoothly.

 

I know this has been an ongoing issue in the past, I have restarted my TV, turned it off at the mains and back again, refreshed the apps etc., but nothing has worked. 

 

Anyone got any advice to fix this? Or is this just a software issue with Sky Glass/Air that has to be resolved by them?
