Have just had a new sky glass delivered last week. I had problems with it freezing and had to re start everything it then seemed fine for a day and the last couple days it been turning off yesterday it went off 8 times was on the messaging service to sky and each time just told same thing to re start everything then did a hard re set from scratch and then this morning after all that it's gone off again twice. I am seriously thinking of sending it back and going back to sky q. I do like the idea of glass and when it's working it's good .I have 3 pucks with it on skys super fast 80. The other tv on the puck does not go off when the main sky glass does. It's now driving me mad.

@Kazzy62 Its possible the issue you are having with the Sky Glass is that the Wifi connection isn't great where your Sky Glass TV is located. What may be worth testing out is to connect the Sky Glass to your router via an ethernet cable ( which can be done directly or via powerline adapters), also make sure you open the Network settings on the Sky Glass and turn Wifi off ( otherwise even though its connected via ethernet it will still default to Wifi).
If the Glass TV still exhibits the same problems via ethernet connection then its likely a fault with the TV and you should contact Sky and ask for a replacement.

Re: New sky glass
When you say off, is the Sky Glass powering off or just freezing while watching a live TV channel that would be going to a black screen with some or no audio playing?
Can you do a Netflix speed test.
Launch Netflix on your Sky Glass TV (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say over a half, period.
What is your speed?
Sky Stream with two pucks via wifi (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Smart Home - Bundle Smart Home plan +

Re: New sky glass
It's going to a black screen, no audio light at front goes off then back on with sky logo. Then have to press home button. The tv on a puck in other room stays on so I wouldn't think it's the WiFi but will try the Netflix speed test. Thanks

@Kazzy62 If the puck in the other room is working fine, it could still be the WiFi. WiFi networks are incredibly temperamental, and just because one room or one area of a room gets a good signal, it doesn't mean all areas of your property will at all times. Wifi networks are incredibly prone to interference, which can often cause a degradation in signal strength and stability.
