New TV, replacing Sky Glass, continuing subscriber.

My original Sky Glass is nearing end of contract.

I am replacing with a larger screen TV.  I have multi room and 3 pucks already.

It seems the Sky Stream is simply a Sky Puck, not linked to Sky Glass, and renamed!

However, I understand that I need to remove Sky Glass as the Main Device on my account, when I stop using it.  I then presumably nominate one puck as a new main device.

1) If correct, are there any implications for subscribed services etc.?

2) What are the required steps to take?

Thanks in anticipation!

Hi @Elkay0405

See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/your-devices-sky-glass

Basically as you have multi room nothing changes. You can get another puck if needed etc and apart from the one off fee no further charges.

You need to call sky to remove a glass TV from your account (you can make other devices primary etc online). This is only needed if you plan on disposing of the TV e.g. selling it or skipping it.

Primary is basically the device that will stay working if you cancel whole home. Glass automatically is the primary device unless removed.
