Mubi on skyglass

Natively you can't. The sky streaming platform run's on Sky's own operating system which doesn't have an app store so you can only use the apps provided.

The workaround to this it to buy a third party streaming device like a Roku or Fire stick, which are open platforms and have app stores allowing you to install whatever apps you want. These devices can be plugged into the HDMI connections on your Glass TV.

Afraid there is no Mubi app available on Sky Glass/Stream.

But you will be able to cast the Mubi app from a mobile/tablet to your Sky Glass TV using the Airplay capability on the Sky Glass TV.

Thanks for the swift reply. I need to check (you may know) if I can use a Firestick direct on a SKyGlass TV or if I need something like an Amiko Box too?

You can plug a Firestick directly into one of the HDMI ports on the Glass, and it works fine.

I do exactly that to use apps which aren't available natively on Sky's platform.

Amazon firesticks do have an electrical cable and require being plugged in.  So the firestick will end up being plugged into an electrical socket and one of the HDMI ports on the Glass.
