Missing euphoria episode

I'm trying to watch the first season of euphoria on hbo max but episode 2 has disappeared...after I watched the first episode number2 was available on cw rail but when I click on it it just takes me to the home page of the hbo max app...so I thought ok I'll just click on euphoria on the app and watch episode 2 but it's not there...it goes from episode one the pilot episode to number 3 called made you look episode 2 is not there very strange 🤷‍♂️

Strange. I've just checked and you are correct - it's not there on HBO Max UK.

It's also not available via the NOW TV app.

I've just checked HBO Max USA and it is available there so perhaps there's an issue with UK certification for that particular episode.

I've just checked the BBFC site and it does state that season 1 ep 2 "required a compulsory cut to a shot" so perhaps this was only done to the original Sky Atlantic version and is yet to be done to the version available via HBO Max UK.

IV just noticed this too. I've only just decided to watch the series. But I don't want to go from episode 1 to 3. I'll have to see if I can find S1.2 elsewhere.

Yes, seeing this missing episode S1E2 on my Sky Stream.

Its listed on Sky Stream as being available in the series rail on both HBO Max and Prime, but launching from the rail on launching yhe HBO Max app it  fails within the HBO Max app to find it.

All I would suggest to get this checked and resolved is to send an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report it;

Even though it's HBO Max content, they can pass onto them to look and hopefully fix  the problem.

Might be an easier and possibly faster route than asking HBO directly themselves.
They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems.

You're not going mad - I have exactly the same problem. I want to watch Ep2 prior to Ep3, but Ep2 has disappeared. Not a good start for HBO Max via Sky!

It's HBO Max via any means, not just Sky. 
It's very likely due to the UK ratings issue I mentioned earlier in the thread. The BBFC originally rated s1ep2 as 18 after a cut was made. This cut would only have been done to the original 25fps international version used by Sky Atlantic. 
Now that the series has reverted to HBO Max, the native 24fps version will need to have the same cut made to it before it can be made available for streaming in the UK.

I've just found the missing episode on sky Atlantic. Along with the whole series, so why did we need HBO again?

Yeah, not available on the ready to download episodes on Sky+HD either. Reading the synopsis online, I'm not surprised that it needs some editing.

The S1E2 episode has appeared now in HBO Max.

It launched from my Sky Stream rail and launched in the HBO Max, playing fine.
