Late delivery

Hi, I ordered a sky glass tv and paid £45 for a morning delivery and at the time of writing this (13.21) it's still not arrived! Am I entitled to try to get my money back for the premium delivery slot? And who do I claim from? Sky insists it's not their problem but I paid the money to them! All day delivery was no charge!

Re: Late delivery

Yes I do get that deliveries can be late but I was supposed to be drop 1 but they started elsewhere! After chatting to the drivers they told me they didn't get in the road til 10 am. Sky said the slot was 8-12 which is why I paid such a hefty delivery fee.

Re: Late delivery

Everyone's tracking shows as being slot 1. I ordered three Sky Glass TV's at three different points in time, all with free delivery, and tracking was showing slot 1 for all three of them.

The £45 fee is really only for next-day delivery, and they should unbox the TV for you and take the box away. Free delivery you have a three day wait.

Re: Late delivery

I should have stuck to the free delivery! I only used it so it didn't get delivered whilst I wasn't around. I wasn't desperate for it as it was just a replacement tv for my daughters room. I won't be sucked in in future!!

Re: Late delivery

I’d lodge a complaint and demand a refund. It’s quite sneaky of Sky to offer priority delivery when their courier doesn’t even support it.

FYI - All three of my deliveries didn't actually go out for delivery until 10-11 am. That's the time it left the delivery warehouse in Swindon. My last delivery wasn't even loaded on the van for delivery until 11:37 am. The van left the warehouse in Swindon shortly after. It was delivered three hours later than the scheduled time frame given by the courier.

Get that complaint in!
