Not sure why my post has been put here as it affects stream as well as glass. It's the puck that is the issue... come on Sky
This thread is a combined thread for Sky Glass and Sky Stream for the issue.
No point having two separate running. Much as has been done for multi platform issues in the past.
We will continue to move any post on this issue into this thread, to help everyone keep abreast of the issue across the two platforms, plus for us as Superusers to keep some sanity in having a single thread to monitor.
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.

No - clearly it isn't the puck that is the issue as otherwise Sky Glass customers wouldn't also be experiencing this particular issue, its obviously a software related problem.

@MarkGoldsmithI think @Super+Anthony meant that the puck was the issue for him, as it were. For me, it's the Glasx TV (puck is unaffected) but, yes, it looks like a software issue generally.

No - clearly it isn't the puck that is the issue ..
And not all Pucks (nor Glass) have this issue.

Do those units not having this issue have the latest update? If not, then that's where Sky needs to be looking.

@Anonymous "that's where Sky needs to be looking" -
I don't think Sky could find their own face in the dark - far too slow solving a widespread problem severely affecting the quality of their service. And still no official communication/ offer of compensation.

Re: Tv is on but can’t connect to programmes
Have you checked Sky have processed your reactivation request?
If so, try unplugging, leaving a few minutes and then turning it back on.
It could also be this issue:

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
Thank you @Blue+Dog.
I don't think people are interested if it works for people @Mark39 . There is obviously an issue and it's affecting several customers and Sky need to do more and fix it and hopefully soon. I did get a very pleasant email back this afternoon so I appreciate that. But we need more than words but quicker action from the technicians

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
@Super+Anthony I think it's worth knowing if those who aren't having this issue have received the latest update or not? If they haven't then that's a good starting place for Sky to look at identifying the cause of the issue if the only people having these issues are those whose units have had the latest update.
As users, we're speculating I know but for me I didn't have this issue until the last update. I know it isn't an internet issue, as do Sky themselves, as they've acknowledged that point to me in one of my calls to them.

The fact that it works for most is entirely relevant, whether you agree or not. You claim here and elsewhere repeatedly that 'it's the Puck' and that a new Puck is needed. Obviously neither is the case.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
Whole thing started for me a week ago.
No problems since May 24, then hanging, freezing, not loading etc. Original TV replaced, all good.
Next day same issues, another 45 minute call and reset router, turned off anything drawing bandwidth, reset TV - worked fine, gradually restored allndeives back into network (Alexa units, Ring doorbell - nothing massivley data heavy), still working fine.
Turn on today and boom! Not loading, and picture blacks out during playback. Profanity ensues...
New call to Sky today, was told all details being submitted on a 'form' and would have to wait up to 48 hours for a response which I am not expecting to be particularly enlightening.
Now looking at rights to reject under CCA, as I now have a 55" brick on the wall...

I have the newest update (and for a few weeks at least) and have no issue with either of my glass units. Hence earlier in the thread I tried a bit of investigating to see if there was a common denominator between those who have the issue. Unfortunately most either ignored my post orbit got lost in the masses of complaints.
For it to effect a users glass set and then to affect the same users replacement glass set does make one wonder .......

I can say that mine started after the latest update however it only happens occasionally for me and is not as bad as others have reported.
