Re: Is sky glass worth it?
The most common problem at the moment is a lip sync issue which should be solved by a software update but has been going on for some time.
Then I'd say low quality connections (either internet speed or network issues) can cause buffering of bad picture quality. As long as you get a solid 30Mbps on a single device it should be fine. The faster and stronger the connection the better.
Finally, there's an adjustment period of getting used to Sky OS and the world of streaming vs recording. Now that I've adjusted I much prefer the Sky OS way of doing things.
The vast majority of people will have successful experiences with Glass. I always recommend trying it out at a store first to see if you like the experience.

Only you can decide that as value is personal.
As @Anonymous suggests, an up close and personal demo is a good idea, but ordering and trying out in your home environment will be the only real way to be sure. You just need to make sure you cancel and return it within the allowed returns window if you are in anyway unsure.
Problems wise, most have been ironed out with software updates.
Aficionados would say there are far, far better TVs out there for less or similar money, which you could easily plug Sky Stream into (and they are 100% correct), but this TV is pitched at "most" customers, who don't care about the intricacies of display technology, nits, true Dolby Atmos or what type of HDMI sockects it has, but are happy with a fairly decent picture, rounded sound and like the Sky UX.
