ITV buffering (subtitles automatically triggered)

Can anyone help? Sky glass gen 1 buffering on ITV 1 then bizarrely this kicks off the subtitles?! - connected over WiFi and can watch itv via the app. 

Never had this issue with subtitles triggering before. Would appreciate any assistance, thanks.

I've had that too, fixed itself. 

But also had it where ad skipping doesn't work if selected from continue rail on home page, but if selected from within ITVx app is OK

Hi we are having the exact same problem.. We have 2 sky glass tvs gen 1 and they are both doing it. We have had an engineer out as we have also had the screen freezing and they said there was a problem with our router and supposedly fixed it but still having the same issues.

Did you get yours resolved? TIA
