How to disable screen saver

Hi,

 

When the TV is inactive adverts for shows appear as a 'screen saver'. 

 

Is there any way to disable this feature or stop specific shows from being advertised.

Afraid not. You'll find a number off apps show adverts now too as a way of boosting their revenue.

Its quite bad, I have a young daughter now and some of the shows advertised are not appropriate and are not what we would watch anyway.
