HBO Max not working on Sky Glass

I have been struggling to get HBO Max on my Sky Glass. Spent hours on phone with Sky. I'm told there is a problem and refresh apps via Settings or go through the instructions on the HBO Max app on Home page. Nothing has worked! I was told to phone HBO Max which we did. The lady was marvellous and I now have an account, received an email with activation code but still no HBO Max Tv. I have been told to phone Sky again!!!!! Before I do has anybody else had this problem? Or could help??

I have spoken to Sky and they gave me a partner ID to phone HBO Max with to link accounts. I have just done this and the lady didn't know what we were talking about!

Thank you for offering to help. However, I am now able to stream HBO Max with the help of an extremely helpful Sky Apps advisor and HBO Max advisor.

I am having the same issue on my TV streaming puck - HBO Max should be included in my subscription (and was the reason I joined Sky!) only to find it will not let me access it unless I pay for it again. I have wasted hours on the website trying to get support from this only to be endlessly cut off by bots who cannot work out what I'm trying to ask them - so infuriating! 

Has anyone found a solution to this problem or a way to speak to an actual human being who might have the first idea what they are doing?

I eventually received helped by phoning Sky and being put through to the Apps department and they helped me. I had to also contact HBO Max but the Sky advisor stayed on the phone while I spoke to them. That solved my problem. I hope that this helps you. I know how infuriating it is!!!

How did you manage to get through to a real person? I have called twice and the robot hangs up on me!

My husband just asked to speak to a real person or failing that just say anything eg Tv not working. You should be able to speak to someone then.

I'm afraid to say hours on the phone to both HBO and Sky have not fixed the problem for me so I don't know what to suggest

I feel your frustration. I don't know what to suggest. All I can say is my experience. It took me about a month of phoning etc. I hope you can get it sorted.
