Glass is utter rubbish

Sky glass 65 inch TV is so rubbish it needs to buffer when fast forwarding. Sometimes it goes backwards before it goes forward and takes longer to fast forward than just let it run through the adverts .. Worst decision ever made cheap nasty TV

You'll be told it's your connectivity is the issue so just check all is ok with a strong internal WiFi signal or Ethernet connection, that being all well it may resolve your problems. 

On the other hand Sky uses iCloud recording and third party apps carrying the content so it can be very hit and miss on occasion depending what source you are viewing from. 

The third party supplier like 5 or Apple or Prime etc could be the issue or indeed Sky. 

Of course you need AD Skipping add on but I suspect you know that. 

The truth is Glass or Stream is not for everyone it often needs fettling and can be extremely frustrating. 

The TV is actually quite decent if a tad overpriced I run my Apple TV through the one I have in the bedroom with no issues because the problems tend to be with Sky software. 

Hopefully it is leaning towards connection issues but.....

Hi @glennmandrews I sometimes have the same problem with fast forwarding on my Stream puck.  I have never found a permanent solution but have found from experience that using a voice command such as "Forward 4 minutes" gives a better and quicker result.

Edit - Also meant to say that sometimes a FF x12 works better than x30.
