I've just had the exact issue searching for the HBO Max series "Neighbors" via voice search at 22:29 tonight.

 

When searching it just gets stuck with "please wait", however when i pressed the voice button and tried the search again, it then loaded the results as expected.

Just as an extra I tried a voice search on one of my pucks for "hoppers" at approx 10.05pm 1st April 

 

got the same please wait message. Pressing home then repeating the search got me some results

Just now 07:55 04th April 2026 searched for now you see me and got this.  I get this regularly when using voice search and a dirty sear works.  I also get please wait when it boots up if turned off at the wall and full resets still produce the same

Having the issue now voice searched for " the paradise" and all I got was the spinning search wheel

It's been a little better for me lately - it was constant a month or so ago - now it's just the first search ..... after pressing home and trying again it seems to work

This is happering to me too, I useally turn the puck off for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then power it back on wait for it to boot and then voice works OK after, werid... 🙂

I am Neurodivergent... 🙂

I am not a Sky Engineer but at one time wanted to be one or a BT Engineer... 🙂

I like working things out like its a puzzle... 🙂

I was a PC Engineer and fix peoples PCs by going to there house, Windows XP was known to slow down PCs over time and clog up the PCs RAM and its start-up and had to reinstall it for the customer.

We only received our gen2 Glass TV on Thursday and now today (Sunday) we're getting this same message and unable to search. We've also lost all the programmes saved to our playlists.

Mine seems to work on the second try - so first effort fails press home then try again

If it fails constantly try the following 

 

Switch tv to standby (either with remote, or with button on side of set)

Switch off at plug

Switch on at plug (no waiting necessary)

When red standby light comes on, press Home button on remote.
