Fraudulent contract
I used to have a sky TV contract but have since rented out my house to tenants. They have now taken out a sky glass contract in my name. I am having no luck with Sky unlinking this with either Sky Glass or Sky Tech. Am very concerned and looking for any advice.

If you mean you are paying for it, then that's presumably a criminal act and should be treated accordingly. I'd imagine there's also identity fraud involved as they shouldn't have been able to place such an order (unless you gave them access)

If the tenants have enough control of the account to place such an order, they may well have effectively removed @LizzMackay from being a contact Sky will listen too: that's why I'd suggest it's now a criminal law issue.

Re: Fraudulent contract
Thank you. I can see the contract on my Sky Account between Sky / my name and the tenants name but I obviously never signed up. I can't understand why Sky would have allowed this without my permission? !

Re: Fraudulent contract
The direct debit is with the tenant.

That's my point: they would only do so if they believed it was yourself placing the order. A particular concern would be that Glass is typically purchased on a two or four year loan agreement for which you ar now responsible.

Re: Fraudulent contract
I know. I have spoken to Sky re my concerns & they say they cannot unlink the contract. I can only imagine the tenant used my details as they had no credit check but I'm still at a loss how Sky allowed this without my permission. Have raised a complaint a few days ago but have no feedback and am very concerned re my liability.

That's why I'm suggesting it's identity fraud.
