Fast forwarding on playlist

Anyone else having an issue with sky stream playlist? I don't have ad skipping but can't even fast forward a short part of a show eg injury time in rugby. 

Surely it isn't by design given fast forward is such basic functionality

Can you explain what's happening when you use fast forward?

It just jumps back to where I started to fast forward

Eg 

Fast firward from minute 13 - 18. Play ads from 18- 22 . Resumes playing at 13. Essentially you have yo re-watch the ads again sometimes more than twice for it to work.

Annoying! I think the most recent update that's rolling out right now is meant to solve this problem so hopefully you won't have it for long.

It's QS035, so keep an eye on your software version in settings and when that updates it should hopefully be fixed. 

They previously said it's rolling out throughout the month and there's no way to force an update or know when your account/devices will update

Yes I have the same issue. I could always fast forward and now suddenly I can't

Hi @Angie109 and welcome to the forum.  A restart of the Glass TV  will probably resolve the issue for you as it tends to clear software glitches.  It's certainly worth a try.

To do this go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device.  It takes a couple of minutes to completely reboot and you will have a blank screen for a while before the Sky logo appears.
