This is one of the key differences between Sky's satellite and streaming services which customers aren't necessarily aware of.

Sky+HD and Sky Q had engineer support - they pointed a dish at a satellite and provided you with cabling and a box to receive the service.

Sky Stream and Glass has no engineer support - they are self-setup devices and services. You need to be willing and able to potentially troubleshoot your home broadband network in order to get the service to function well enough. Some people get lucky and have a 'plug and play' experience, but others do not.

You may have a really stable Internet connection into your home but often wifi is the issue throughout the home. Stream needs a consistent strong connection otherwise it drops the service get that right and you should have a more positive experience.  Also, think of Ethernet connection if WiFi signal cannot be improved.
