Channel 5 App

Channel 5 App is the one which is causing me problems 

Every time I select play, I get error undefined VJS-2999

Their help centre is next to useless, usual fudge answers, and transferring to someone else

Have tried switching off WIFI as advised, then putting back on. No result.   Thank you in anticipation

Can you try the following in this order, even though you may have tried some of it;

 

Put your Sky Glass TV into standby.

Go to your broadband router/hub and remove the power for at least half hour.

After that half hour, power back the broadband router/hub.

Once the broadband router/hub is back up, select the Home key  or power button on your Sky Glass and allow it to power up


Let a TV live channels play out for a good five minutes.

Then do an apps refresh.

 

  1. Press Home on your Sky remote, then highlight Settings.
  2. Press System management, then Resets and updates, and finally Refresh apps.
  3. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing. Note: An apps refresh can take up to 24 hours to complete.

Then try the C5 app again.

You can try using the C5 app after a few hours after starting the apps refresh process, but as above it can sometimes take 24 hours to fully complete.
