surly you should be able to do this online this day and age.
One provision of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (2024) is to mandate that companies which offer online sign-up must also facilitate cancellations that way, but unfortunately this hasn't yet been implemented by the Competition and Markets Authority.

Re: Cancelling sky tv
@bomber0281 I cancelled Stream recently by using the email on this link.
Sky will need to contact you but having sent the email giving notice of the 31 days cancellation, that date was fixed.
Remember to include all required information in the email.
Different Sky services may have different cancellation terms.
Over the next days Sky rang me and I answered when convenient to go through security questions etc. and confirm the cancellation.

Re: Cancelling sky tv
I wish I had never signed up to Sky, streaming is a constant battle with the Sky puck with issues with connection even when it's plugged into its own ethernet cable directly to the router.
Some times it works perfectly and other times it just will not connect.
Here's some of the list of issues we have been having since day one.
Blue screen - program loading - no sound - no connection - starts then stops - there's a technical issue - black screen
I have reported all these issues with Sky and when I do end up speaking to someone they seem to be dealing with more than one person at a time while on the phone.
I have had to reset the device on a number of occasions and start from scratch but that hasn't worked.
We've had numerous emails going back and forth and I have told them numerous times please do not call during work hours as it is difficult to take a call while at work, and they always call me during the day.
I have a few other streaming devices which work absolutely fine via WiFi but the Sky Puck is totally unreliable.
I just want to cancel my contract and return this puck.
